Now that we are into the twenty-first century, John H. Gerstner (1914-1996) tends to be forgotten. He shouldn’t be. His contribution to 20th century Reformed theology was significant. Gerstner was a Professor of Church History at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary and an authority on the life and theology of Jonathan Edwards. Gerstner counted among his students R.C.
